Paint your dream

On 18-19 May 2023, a summer volunteer program themed “Paint your dream” was conducted by Grant Thornton Vietnam at Son Lam Primary and Secondary School, Bac Binh District, Binh Thuan Province. The program aimed to create a fresh learning environment for pupils who are facing with challenges of remote areas.

On this occasion, Grant Thornton Vietnam volunteers cleaned up and decorated the school and planted more trees around the campus. We made hand drawings on the walls that carry lovely messages such as the joy of going to school like sea creatures playing in the ocean, evoking the love of books, music, geography, and entertainment to the hot air balloon flying up. We hope pupils enjoy and their dreams will come true.

After handling over the school to the Board of school, each member of Grant Thornton Vietnam got full of happiness, knowing that our efforts had brought a new look to Son Lam School.

Planting for growth

With the desire to join hands in reducing climate change and protecting the natural environment, 350 members of Grant Thornton Vietnam jointly implemented the initiative program "Planting 350 Erythrophloeum fordii Oliv trees to protect the health of the National Park Bach Ma".

From 4:30 a.m 09 September 2023, all members were ready to depart for Bach Ma National Park, Thua Thien Hue province. All enthusiastically accepted the task and immediately started planting small trees in the bare forest. Drops of sweat fell and a lot of joy flew.

The air reverberated with the uplifting melody of the song "Grant Thornton together we go beyond" capturing the spirit of unity and determination that drove our efforts. That morning of forest planting will be a beautiful memory imprinted in the memory of every member of Grant Thornton Vietnam.

A new look for school

Grant Thornton Vietnam, in collaboration with First Trust ACPA, executed the CSR program named "A new look for school" at two primary schools—Huoi Pinh and Nam Xa, Muong Nhe, Dien Bien on 18 November 2023. We aimed to enhance and adorn the learning spaces, creating a vibrant academic environment for the pupils.

During the handover ceremony, our team had the pleasure of engaging with the students through spirited and enjoyable games.

Each member GTV and FTA departed with a sense of fulfillment, having contributed to the revitalization of Huoi Pinh and Nam Xa schools. We extend our heartfelt wishes to all the pupils for continued academic success in pursuit of their dreams.

Spring for Kids

The volunteer program themed "Spring for Kids" organized by Grant Thornton Vietnam in mid-January on 20/01/2024 brought a warm gathering at Kà Ốt Pagoda, Tay Ninh. The team members were delighted to contribute to a joyful spring atmosphere for the children through traditional games, bell ringing contests, and gift-giving. Everyone handcrafted unique lucky money envelopes.

Together to School

Starting the summer season, Grant Thornton Vietnam embarked on a trip to Di Linh district, Lam Dong province, to engage with the students of Son Dien Primary School on 01 June 2024. After navigating through winding roads to reach the school, the enthusiastic volunteers from Grant Thornton eagerly organized interactive games and set up a photo studio for memorable snapshots. This exchange session turned into a vibrant celebration, filled with joyful and lively moments, bringing radiant smiles to the children's faces.

Each member of the team returned with hearts brimming with happiness for having brought joy to the young ones.

We sincerely wish the students great success in their studies and the realization of their dreams.
